ATCO – EQUIPMENT FABRICATOR (Machinist/Welder) – Fort Worth, TX (On-Site)

POSITION SUMMARY

This position involves fabricating welded frames, some manual machine work, and assembling machinery. We are looking for people with a wide range of skills that encompass all things mechanical and electrical. A willingness to learn new skills is crucial. The candidate will work from drawings and sketches to build parts, frames and assemble equipment used in production machinery. The individual will need to be well versed in welding. Welding certification is also a plus. The ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics is a positive.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Build production machinery used in our manufacturing locations
  • Performs grinding, fitting-up, fixturing parts, sanding and welding per design drawing.
  • GMAW or GTAW Welding
  • Welding, Fabrication, and Machine assembly
  • Work from drawings and sketches to build parts, frames and equipment used in production machinery.
  • Electrical and pneumatic assembly as required
  • Create sub-assemblies from fabricated parts
  • Troubleshoot and provide feedback on machines and systems currently under maintenance

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years Metal Fabrication, Welding, and Equipment Assembly (minimum)
  • Certification is a plus

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time hourly position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

ATCO – DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (Part-Time Intern) – Fort Worth, TX (On-Site)

POSITION SUMMARY

ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently hiring a part-time Desktop Support Technician who will be responsible for providing technical and application assistance to end users across multiple site locations. This includes maintaining, configuring, installing, and troubleshooting company hardware and software through the company helpdesk system. A successful candidate will exhibit exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. An ability to grow and work within a team is necessary! You will report to the IT Manager who will aid when needed and provide additional training and professional development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide technical support to end users on basic software/hardware issues in person or over the phone.
  • PC and User Administration
  • Provide quick responses to helpdesk tickets, which may include PC hardware or software issues, printer problems, and PC network connectivity issues in person or over the phone.
  • Perform hardware maintenance on desktops, printers, projectors, mobile devices, and other networked hardware.
  • Provision of new workstations and laptops.
  • Maintain current patching with Microsoft and third-party applications within the company guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Desktop support role: 2 years (required)
  • Software troubleshooting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Working towards Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or higher preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Windows PC operating systems (Windows 10 & Windows 11) and Dell/Cisco network environments.
  • Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with non-technical users and IT team members.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC hardware component replacement
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic TCP / IP networking issues.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a part-time hourly internship position working up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM; flexible daytime schedule as approved by Manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Desktop support role: 2 years (required)
  • Software troubleshooting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Working towards Associate’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or higher preferred
