ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently seeking a Plant Manager who will manage and direct the production, maintenance, and quality assurance functions of our light industrial assembly plant in the Fort Worth, TX Assembly Plant. This manager will direct the coordination of all manufacturing departments’ functions to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility
• Provide leadership and management to associates
• Ensure production meets the required deadlines, and quality standards and is completed within the operational budget.
• Manage, measure, and improve the labor efficiency and productivity of the facility
• Manage and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Ensure lead times perform to company service levels.
• Ensure material is received on time, keep inventories in good condition and rotating stock (FIFO)
• Work closely with Regional Operations Manager to ensure the proper assembly and
• maintenance of equipment.
• Build a succession plan for each role where necessary
• Create and maintain a high level of employee morale and relations.
• Direct interviewing, staffing, and training on all hourly and salary levels
• Manage all plant employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the plant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4-6 years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Industrial/Assembly experience highly preferred
• A degree is not necessary but strongly preferred. Military experience may be substituted for education.
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise
• Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes
• Computer proficiency

Candidates must have proven work experience as a Plant Manager with demonstrated leadership skills.
